Piers loves technology and all things science fiction. He cares about the projects we agree to accept since we have a reputation for delivering the right working solution to the correct performance in acceptable timescales. He has so far overseen a 100% positive track history for the delivery of over 50 projects. His ambition is for Olsen Actuators to be remembered for the cutting-edge, world-first projects that Olsen has already completed and those it will undertake in the future. Olsen's largest project to date was £4m and typical projects fall between £500k-£2m.

Ian Walch

Ian has senior leadership experience gained from several different companies working across the Defence, Security, Aerospace, Industrial Automation and Commercial Vehicles sectors. Having graduated with a 1st Class Hons degree, Ian is an engineer at heart and is driven by delivering solutions to customers’ often complex technical challenges. Equally importantly Ian also understands how to turn technical knowledge and know-how into a business winning strategy, supporting teamwork, company growth, and profitability. Outside of work, Ian enjoys keeping (relatively) fit and renovating old houses.

Andrew Sherry

Andrew joins the team as a vastly experienced Mechanical Engineer with 15 years experience in Electronics manufacturing process development, Quality Management and Production Management.He managed an Aerospace machining & treatment facility supplying Airbus and Boeing actuation products on the Isle of Man prior to joining Olsen. His experience of working with these prime companies means he brings a calm, methodical and professional approach to all aspects of Olsen's operations.

Adam Bargh

Adam is a highly talented Mechanical Design Engineer. He is a Cambridge Graduate with international experience in delivering projects with novel application requirements from his time with Rolls-Royce. His friendly and vastly knowledgeable manner helps him manage projects from the concept and developmental stage, through to the delivery of innovative solutions. Outside of work, Adam is the sort of character who prefers more simple tasks, like building his own house... a real Engineer's Engineer!
