Samuel Harrison
Control Systems EngineerSam is a talented Control Systems Engineer. He studied Electronic Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Wollongong in his native Australia, obtaining 2.5 years of experience in the field before moving to the UK and joining the Olsen team.
His role as Control Systems Engineer has him focusing on software solutions as a part of our drives and systems solutions, a key part of the company which is growing fast. He has shown a fantastic capability to adapt to new projects and brings enthusiasm and expertise to some of our most challenging projects.
What Samuel says:
Since joining Olsen Actuators & Drives I have enjoyed working on new and unique software applications. In particular, I enjoy being a part of VR integration projects and how they are integrated with actuation and motion control technologies.
As well as the innovative projects which keep things interesting and engaging, the team at Olsen is also a great part of working here.
Outside of work, I enjoy homebrewing and gaming, having played semi-professionally in the past.
