NDI organised France & the UK – Doing Business Together conference – Business opportunities in Autonomy, Automation and Robotics, including several high-level officials from UK and France with Philip Dunne MP and Minister for Defence Equipment, Support & Technology (UKMOD), also M. Jean-Pierre Devaux, Direction generale de l’armement (DGA)
The idea is for SME’s from France and the UK to interact more closely and try to combine resources, skills and contacts to provide viable solutions to sell into each others supply chain and to the prime contractors using locally already pre-approved status. Major companies in attendance for the one to one meetings were BAE Systems, Thales, Safran, Lockheed Martin, Spie, Mira, Raytheon, Pearson Engineering and Nexter Group. Olsen exhibited at the event and made several key potential contacts during the event.
