In the UK we're never more than 70 miles from the sea. It's a passion of ours and we are fortunate enough to have many exciting projects above and below the water. Many of us are lucky enough to live close to the water, two of us even on it!
We have been lucky enough to follow our passion into practical projects including submersible equipment, ROV's, tidal and wave power, submarines and ship equipment and steering.
Our customers have required everything from off the shelf solutions to COTS and fully customised actuators capable of withstanding enormous pressures, temperatures and saltwater.
The marine environment is precious. We are working hard to convey the message that leaky hydraulics and pneumatics can be damaging to the environment and replacing them with highly efficient, reliable and clean electric actuators is the way forward.
Initial costs may be higher, but efficiencies and longevity mean the payback period is typically very quick. Plus the added functionality, ease of use, install and maintenance makes the switch to electric not only a great choice for the marine environment, but also the pocket and the mind!
