The team at Olsen Actuators are thrilled to have been awarded first prize in two award ceremonies during 2017 and runner up in a third!
Aviation, Aerospace and Defence Awards:
In July, Olsen were named the Most Advanced Defence Sector Electric Actuator Specialists at a ceremony hosted by Industry Insight Magazine.
In an interview with the magazine, Managing Director Piers Olsen said:
"Overall, our mission is to be the leading electric actuator provider in the UK. We are experts in this field with over 20 years of experience designing and developing solutions for a wide range of pioneering principle applications. The team will go further than other suppliers to ensure we meet customer requirements and demands. Providing the best possible actuator solution for their needs and the customer will always be confident that they have a long life, low maintenance solution, which is supported by a team of people who care."
Northwest Enterprise Awards:
Olsen bagged the top spot in the category for the top linear actuator provider in the event hosted by SME news.
Sophie Milner, a representative from the magazine, said:
"SME News prides itself on the validity of its awards and winners. The awards are given solely on merit and are awarded to commend those most deserving for their ingenuity and hard work, distinguishing them from their competitors and proving them worthy of recognition."
Speaking about the award, Piers Olsen said:
"We are very pleased to be recognised as the leader in actuation technology in the North-West. 2017 has seen some exciting developments for the business. We have expanded our sales team by another four members and moved into a bigger office to accommodate this. We have launched some exciting products to the UK market including an Electro-Hydraulic high force solution. We are looking forward to what 2018 brings for the business"
Military, Simulation and Training Awards:
In this ceremony, hosted by Military Simulation and Training Magazine, Olsen Motion Dynamics came runners up for their advanced electric 6dof Motion Platform.
