DSEI 2017 was one of the most successful to date and proved particularly lucrative for Olsen Actuation.
The team at Olsen joined other key exhibitors from the Defence and Aerospace industries to demonstrate their most cutting edge technological advances.
Showcasing alongside industry leaders BAE, Qinetiq and Babcock, this year’s DSEI saw Olsen introduce several innovations to the UK market including;
- Patented, linear and rotary SUBSEA electric actuators
- Fully Electric, servo-driven, 6DOF motion simulation platforms
- And a NEW ultra high-force electro-hydraulic (EHD) sealed for life capsule actuator
Managing Director Piers Olsen Said:
"2017 DSEI was very busy for us. This year was our third time exhibiting since 2013 so we decided to move locations to be part of the NDI (Northern Defence Industries) collaboration of components suppliers.
The location was excellent opposite Qinetiq and neighbours with BAE Systems, Babcock and Chemringand some of our existing clients. We met a lot of engineers and existing contacts during the 4 days. There were several interesting new application enquiries relating to our range of Subsea Electric Actuators and a firm enquiry for a high-performance, high-frequency motion platform. Our new EHD electro-hydraulic sealed for life capsule actuator proved to generate a lot of interest. We look forward to contacting and visiting the prospects during the next few weeks and look forward to the next show in 2019!"
