Olsen attended a really positive Meet the Buyer event to discuss defence projects and novel emerging technologies. Due to the pandemic, this was conducted online and, although nothing beats a face-to-face meeting, we were able to meet far more people than we might otherwise have been able to.
One of our passions is energy reduction, given the nature of our range being highly efficient. The ability to connect with representatives working on a wide range of applications all while not travelling further than our own office also fits very comfortably with this ethos.
Given the nature of the event, many of the conversations were confidential, but we were able to both introduce our range to some people for the first time, and also help to progress projects already using our lines.
Among the wide range of projects, unmanned electric vehicles featured prominantely and this is something we are really excited about, having helped customers in multiple industries with these types of applications.
Our highly efficient, reliable and powerful electric actuators come in compact and lightweight packages in comparison with alternative technologies, making them perfect for remote operated vehicles (ROV's).
