Press Day at the IET HQ

This month we hosted a Press Day for 17 journalists at the IET HQ in Savoy Place, London. Presentations included Mike Maiden, Chairman of Northern Defence Industries (NDI), John Browett CC-Link and Piers Olsen. The Space sector is due to grow from £9bn to £45bn over the next 10 years and we will try to be involved in helping to test all the components needed for such projects. CC-link is the preferred field bus in Asia and used widely as the standard by Mitsui rivalling Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherCat and EtherNet. Certainly, Exlar will be made aware of the advantage to provide such an option for Tritex Integrated actuators. Some interesting videos, application case studies and new product demo’s followed by a good quality lunch and refreshments. Hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did. We plan to take this 2-hour format forward and up to the North-West to Daresbury Innovation Centre – November time.
