Olsen Actuators and ESI Motion bring you the SuperNova servo drive. A COTS-designed product specifically for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) motion control systems that has been field proven in several space applications.

The SuperNova servo drive is developed specifically for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) motion control applications.

  • Peak Current: Up to 20 A

  • Output Power: 230 W (per axis)

  • Weight: 0.499 kg

Building on the success of ESI Motion’s NOVA servo drive comes the next step. The SuperNova has inrush protection and a brake driver and is packaged in a rugged case which does not require additional cooling. This Radiation Tolerated controller takes the power available in a Dual-Axis configuration and adds more power along with multiple options of feedback while still providing one of the smallest servo drives for space applications on the market today.

Olsen Actuators and ESI Motion have the expertise to customise a solution for your project’s needs. Instead of taking an off-the-shelf product and having to customise in-house, let Olsen and ESI do the heavy lifting and adapt your drive to your specific project's requirements, nothing is off the table. Just let us know, and we will work with you to engineer a solution.
